Digital voltmeter ke andar Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) hota hai jo input voltage ko digital numbers mein convert karta hai. Jab voltage input terminals par apply hota hai, to ADC usay sense karke ek binary value banata hai jo phir microcontroller/display driver ke through screen par numeric form mein show hota hai.
